UK-20 is a narrow 20 metric tonne truck designed for small and medium-sized hard rock mines, fitting in a narrow to mdeium meter heading. Despite the relatively high payload capacity, this underground truck has the same overall width as most 15-ton trucks on the market. As all CHIHONG underground mining trucks, it is designed to operate fully loaded and at high speeds on long spiral haulage ways with up to 20% gradients.
Available with a standard forward facing, open operator compartment or with an optional forward facing, fully enclosed and air conditioned cabin, CHIHONG UK-20 offers superior comfort without compromising visibility.
Brake System: Service brakes are SAHR multidisc wet brakes on all wheels.;Integrate service brake, park brake and emergency brake in a whole system. Brake system performance complies with requirements of EN ISO 3450, AS2958.1 and SABS 1589
Operator's Cabin: The CHUK-200 cab provides wide ergonomics operating space, temperature control and ventilation system, wide front windshield with full view, push-pull glass window and large rearview mirror. Ergonomically compatible console layout improves comfort and productivity.
CHUK-20 cab passed the ROPS/FOPS certification to protect the safety of the operator. The bridge is fitted with plastic glass windows on all sides and four sealing strips are used to remove the glass inside and outside for emergency escape in case of danger.
Rear and Front Frame: The rear frame is heavy-duty designed to make the equipment more stable when it is transported and loaded and unloaded. Heavy-duty design of the front frame and cab minimizes damage from roadway wall shocks and collisions.
High strength alloy Q460C steel plate is adopted to optimize material thickness, reduce deadweight, improve overall transportation capacity, high structural reliability and long service life. The box structure is adopted to improve the overall strength of the carriage and to reduce the impact from the tunnel wall, the damage caused by collision and the prolongation of service life.
